Resumo: Capitalist development models deepen one of the most important global problems of our time: the environmental crisis. Research and expert documents constantly announce that it is imperative to put into action active policies against climate change and to assume without delay global challenges for the transformation of the way in which humanity relates to nature. In the exercise of these actions, the rights that guarantee access to information, citizen participation and environmental justice are fundamental. This paper analyzes the dynamics developed regarding the exercise of these rights in certain stages of the Argentine project “Argentina Offshore Seismic Acquisition Campaign; North Argentina Basin (Areas CAN 108, CAN 100 and CAN 114)” and its impact on government decision-making.

Investigaciones y documentos de expertos anuncian de forma constante que resulta imperioso poner en acción políticas activas contra el cambio climático y asumir sin demora desafíos globales para la transformación del modo en que la humanidad se relaciona con la naturaleza. En el ejercicio de estas acciones, los derechos que garantizan el acceso a la información, a la participación ciudadana y a la justicia ambiental resultan fundamentales. En el presente trabajo se analizan las dinámicas desarrolladas en cuanto al ejercicio de estos derechos en ciertas etapas del proyecto argentino “Campaña de Adquisición Sísmica Offshore Argentina; Cuenca Argentina Norte (Áreas CAN 108, CAN 100 y CAN 114)” y su impacto en la toma de decisiones gubernamentales.Os modelos capitalistas de desenvolvimento aprofundam um dos problemas globais mais importantes do nosso tempo: a crise ambiental. Documentos de pesquisas e especialistas anunciam constantemente que é imperativo colocar em ação políticas ativas contra as mudanças climáticas e assumir sem demora os desafios globais para a transformação da forma como a humanidade se relaciona com a natureza. No exercício dessas ações, são fundamentais os direitos que garantem o acesso à informação, a participação cidadã e a justiça ambiental.
