THE INFLUENCE OF INCOME AND MANAGEMENT PROCESSES FOR THE REDUCTION OF TURNOVER IN A COLLECTORS' COOPERATIVE IN THE SOUTH OF RIO GRANDE DO SUL

Resumo: Working in a cooperative is challenging, because in addition to carrying out the activities that the cooperative proposes, it must also carry out its management. When considering the recycling sector, the challenge is even greater, since the people who make up these enterprises are usually on the margins of society and have immediate demands, which require simplified processes for the cooperative to achieve its objectives. In this context, the present work aims to verify the factors that led to the reduction of turnover in a cooperative of waste pickers in the south of Rio Grande do Sul. For this purpose, the cooperative was analyzed for six years. The cooperative is an enterprise incubated at INEESOL at FURG, and over the years of incubation it has gone through several situations, from the improvement of administrative and financial management processes, and of the productive sector. The results point out that the reasons why, currently, rotation in the cooperative is practically non-existent, are: an increase in income of more than 500%, resulting in a better quality of life for both the cooperative members and their families; access to all financial information and; effective participation in decision-making processes.

Al considerar el sector del reciclaje, el desafío es aún mayor, ya que las personas que integran estas empresas suelen estar al margen de la sociedad y tienen demandas inmediatas, que requieren procesos simplificados para que la cooperativa logre sus objetivos. En este contexto, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo verificar los factores que llevaron a la reducción de la rotación en una cooperativa de recicladores en el sur de Rio Grande do Sul. Para ello se analizó la cooperativa durante seis años. La cooperativa es una empresa incubada en INEESOL en la FURG, ya lo largo de los años de incubación ha pasado por diversas situaciones, desde la mejora de los procesos de gestión administrativa y financiera, y del sector productivo. Los resultados apuntan que las razones por las cuales, en la actualidad, la rotación en la cooperativa es prácticamente inexistente son: un aumento de los ingresos de más del 500%, redundando en una mejor calidad de vida tanto para los cooperativistas como para sus familias; acceso a toda la información financiera y; participación efectiva en los procesos de toma de decisiones.O trabalho em uma cooperativa é desafiador, pois além de realizar as atividades a qual a cooperativa se propõe ainda deve ser realizar a sua gestão. Ao considerar o setor da reciclagem o desafio é maior ainda, visto que as pessoas que constituem esses empreendimentos normalmente estão à margem da sociedade e possuem demandas imediatas, que exigem processos simplificados para que a cooperativa atinja os seus objetivos. Nesse contexto, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo verificar os fatores que levaram a redução da rotatividade em uma cooperativa de catadoras e catadores no sul do Rio Grande do Sul. Para tanto, analisou-se a cooperativa durante seis anos.
