Resumo: The research presents the different situations that were made visible during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Paraguay an labor market regarding the loss of jobs, with emphasis on work cooperatives as an alternative for generating employment. The general objective was to analyze the contribution of work cooperatives as an employment strategy in the face of Covid-19. The research modality was bibliographic-documentary, with a quantitative approach. To estimate the generation of employment, based on the proposal of work cooperatives, the economically inactive population, the unemployed population, the population dedicated to domestic service, the family structure and the minimum membership of members were taken into account. in work cooperatives. The results propose three scenarios of employability with the creation of work cooperatives in the care of infants and the elderly. One of the conclusions raises the potential of the care sector, formalizing a work sector to generate work cooperatives as a work alternative to be developed in different sectors of the economy. The multisectoral work of the cooperative sector and the Ministry of Employment, Labor and Social Security is suggested mainly, to make visible the contribution of the entities of the social economy.

El objetivo general fue analizar la contribución de las cooperativas de trabajo como estrategia de empleo ante el Covid-19. La modalidad de investigación fue bibliográfica-documental, con enfoque cuantitativo. Para la estimación de la generación de empleo, a partir de la propuesta de cooperativas de trabajo, se tomó en cuenta la población económicamente inactiva, la población desempleada, la población dedicada al servicio doméstico, la estructura familiar y la conformación mínima de socios/as en las cooperativas de trabajo. Los resultados plantean tres escenarios de empleabilidad con la creación de las cooperativas de trabajo en los cuidados a infantes y adultos mayores. Una de las conclusiones plantea el potencial del sector de cuidados, la formalización de un sector de trabajo, la generación como alternativa laboral en las cooperativas de trabajo a desarrollarse en los diferentes sectores de la economía. Se sugiere el trabajo multisectorial del sector cooperativo y el Ministerio de Empleo Trabajo y Seguridad Social principalmente, para visibilizar el aporte de las entidades de la economía social.A pesquisa apresenta as diferentes situações que se tornaram visíveis durante a pandemia de Covid-19 no mercado de trabalho paraguaio em relação à perda de empregos, com ênfase nas cooperativas de trabalho como alternativa de geração de empregos. O objetivo geral foi analisar a contribuição das cooperativas de trabalho como estratégia de emprego perante a Covid-19. A modalidade de pesquisa foi bibliográfico-documental, com abordagem quantitativa. Para estimar a geração de emprego, a partir da proposta das cooperativas de trabalho, foram levadas em consideração a população economicamente inativa, a população desempregada, a população dedicada ao serviço doméstico, a estrutura familiar e o número mínimo de associados nas cooperativas de trabalho. Os resultados propõem três cenários de empregabilidade com a criação de cooperativas de trabalho no cuidado de bebês e idosos. Uma das conclusões levanta o potencial do setor assistencial, formalizando um setor de trabalho para a geração de cooperativas de trabalho como alternativa de trabalho a ser desenvolvida em diferentes setores da economia.
