Sociabilities and discourses in the social configuration of Diário dos Campos, Ponta Grossa (PR) 1907-1921

This article studies the establishment and consolidation of the newspaper Diário dos Campos in Ponta Grossa, Paraná, between the years 1907 and 1921, based on a study of sociability and discourses that permeated the constitution and existence of the newspaper. Around the publication, a social unit developed itself involving employees, collaborators, sponsors and readers. The changes in this structure occurred in a non-linear process, but which at the end of 1921 pointed to a consolidation of the publication, with recognized and awarded members and a position on social and ideological political issues in society. This study seeks, from the historical research and the local social structures, the analysis of sociability and investigation of representations, in order to understand the link between the sociability and the discourses present in the publication and the social configuration that was developed.
