Quilombos of the Amazon: Traditional Practices of the Folias de Santo in the Municipality of Óbidos – PA (1947 - 2017)

Resumo: This article intends to show parts of the analyzes carried out on the folias de santo in the remaining quilombo areas in the Municipality of Óbidos. In this way, it emphasizes some propositions to which folias correlate, seen as an ethnic trait of the Afro-Brazilian culture in Obidos in the State of Pará, as well as on dispersions of the slaves for the formation of the remaining areas of quilombos in the mentioned municipality and finally, emphasizing in a descriptive way the songs or folias and litany of Folias de santo, starting from the proposition that refers to the influence of the practices of tradition, in the writing of History. The methodology used was the analysis of the litanies and songs obtained through interviews during field work, at the moment of Folia de São Tomé, in Óbidos.
