This research proposes to analyze from the drawings Las perreras and La parrilla, made by the Chilean architect Miguel Lawner, the claim on the right to look (N. Mirzoeff). The testimonial action of these drawings is recognized here, since in them we can observe the denunciations of (un)human abuses committed during the Chilean dictatorship established by Augusto Pinochet, between 1973 and 1990. Thus, influenced by the lines of thought and theoretical-methodological basis approach of visual studies, especially by the professor and researcher of visual culture Nichollas Mirzoeff, this text seeks to understand how we can examine a double role of visualities and countervisualities in the works chosen for our reflection.
