CONCEPTIONS ABOUT THE TEACHER AND THE SCHOOL IN BRAZILIAN CINEMA: CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF FILM DISCOURSES

Resumo: This article presents a critical analysis of the discourses of contemporary Brazilian films that shows the teacher as character and / or the school as scenery, produced / supported by Globo Organizations with Globo Filmes. Initially it develops the methodology of critical analysis of film discourse, comprised of a three-dimensional approach that involves text, discursive practice and social practice. It then characterizes the contemporary Brazilian film activity from the concepts of hegemony and cultural industry. In order to then present critical analyzes of the discourses of three films - Uma professora muito maluquinha (2011), (free translations: A very crazy teacher), Verônica (2009) and Qualquer gato vira-lata (2011) (free translation: Any stray cat) - with the goal of identifying concepts and meanings, about the teacher and the school, which those involved in the production of such films intend to hegemonize. Such as the appreciation of semi-learning; annulment of teaching in favor of autonomous learning and the social conformity. Keywords: Critical analysis of film discourse. Brazilian Cinema. Movies about the teacher and the school.Este artículo presenta un análisis crítico de los discursos de las películas brasileñas contemporáneas que tienen al maestro como personaje y/o a la escuela como escenario, producidos / apoyados por las Organizaciones Globo a través de Globo Filmes. Inicialmente, se desarrolla la metodología de análisis crítico del discurso cinematográfico, compuesto por un enfoque tridimensional que incluye el texto, práctica discursiva y práctica social. A continuación, se caracteriza la actividad cinematográfica brasileña contemporánea a partir de los conceptos de industria cultural y hegemonía, para entonces presentar análisis críticos de los discursos de tres películas - Uma professora muito maluquinha (2011) (traducción libre: Un maestra muy loquita), Verônica (2009) y Qualquer gato vira-lata (2011) (traducción libre: Cualquier gato callejero) - con el objetivo de identificar los concepciones y significados sobre el maestro y la escuela, que los implicados en la producción de estas películas pretenden hegemonizar, tales como la apreciación de la semi-formación; la anulación de la enseñanza en el binomio enseñanza-aprendizaje, a favor de un aprendizaje autónomo, y el conformismo social. Películas sobre el maestro y la escuela.O presente artigo apresenta análises críticas dos discursos de filmes brasileiros contemporâneos que têm o professor como personagem e/ou a escola como cenário, produzidos/apoiados pelas Organizações Globo a partir da Globo Filmes. Inicialmente, desenvolve-se a metodologia de análise crítica do discurso fílmico, composta de uma abordagem tridimensional que envolve texto, prática discursiva e prática social. Em seguida, caracteriza-se a atividade cinematográfica brasileira contemporânea a partir dos conceitos de indústria cultural e hegemonia, para então, apresentar análises críticas dos discursos de três filmes - Uma professora muito maluquinha (2011), Verônica (2009) e Qualquer gato vira-lata (2011) - com o objetivo de identificar concepções e sentidos, acerca do professor e da escola, que os envolvidos nas produções de tais filmes pretendem hegemonizar, tais como: a valorização da semiformação; a anulação do ensino, no binômio ensino-aprendizagem, em prol do aprendizado autônomo; e o conformismo social.
