Na obra Sobre o Tempo não foi diferente. Ao longo desta resenha será mostrado as perspectivas e os avanços que o autor dá acerca do estudo epistemológico do tempo, fazendo um enlace das abordagens filosóficas e historiográficas para coroar com avisão sociológica e propor que a experiência social cognoscível do tempo se trata de uma quinta dimensão.  Palavras-chave: Tempo; Norbert Elias; Epistemologia;Abstract: In this review will be presented the book Sobre o Tempo, authored by the illustrious sociologist Norbert Elias, the thinker who did school throughout the 20th century in the fields of Human and Social Sciences with their original and paradigmatic approaches. In the book Sobre o Tempo was not different. Throughout this review will be shown the perspectives and the advances that the author gives about the epistemological study of time, making a link of philosophical and historiographic approaches to crown with the sociological vision and to propose that the knowable social experience of time is a fifth dimension.Keywords: Time; Norbert Elias; Epistemology.Recebido em: 26/06/2019  – Aceito em 30/07/2019
