Resumo: The text includes a holistic view of the contemporary city from the complexity arising from your relationship with time. The city under the actions and public events manifests as an entity in space that is inhibited in favor of phenomenal time. Traces operated by natural processes, as well as graphs and rubrics from the cultural, manifested as fractal shapes, which in turn come from "chaotic attractors" of complex universe. The complexity resulting from the uncertainty and irreversibility of physical phenomena, the action of light and atmospheres involved, make urban acquire a physiognomy in which flows denote its particular nature. The city is the formal and tectonic result of natural chaotic flows in line with humans. The complexity of the temporal and urban stretches accordingly behavior and psychology of perception of the inhabitant.

El tiempo en su acepción científica relaciona el tiempo fenomenológico con su reversibilidad. Lo complejo se asume no en las características de la sustancia sino en la configuración de relaciones inéditas. La complejidad se entiende en el urbanismo y la ciudad como una sumatoria de tiempos diversos que de forma magmática dan cuenta de sus materias integrantes, así como de la temporalización del espacio, característica esencial de la ciudad contemporánea.
