La educación argentina en el contexto de las transformaciones de los años 90

La configuración actual del sistema educativo argentino dista mucho de aquella en la que se fundó una identidad de sociedad igualitaria y educada. Los años 60 y luego los 90 con la reforma educativa y la reestructuración del orden social y político, marcan puntos de quiebre en la relación entre educación, Estado y sociedad. En los 60 la incorporación de los sectores sociales emergentes a la educación genera un desplazamiento hacia la escuela privada de los sectores medios altos, la reforma de los 90, a su vez, modifica las funciones del Estado y los modos de intervención en el sistema. En la confluencia de todas estas modificaciones se configura un sistema fragmentado, que debe hacerse cargo de nuevos mandatos, débil en su legitimidad social y atravesado por síntomas de desinstitucionalización.Abstract: The configuration of the Argentinian educational system today is very different from the one we had in other times. Some time ago, it was the basis for the building of an egalitarian and well-educated society. The educational reform and the restructuring of the social and political order in the 60s and in the 90s are landmarks of a gap between education, the State and society. In the 60s, the incorporation of the emerging social classes to education produced a displacement of the upper-middle class to private schools, and in the 90s, the educational reform changed the functions of the State and the ways it interferred with the system. The intersection of all these changes together shows a broken system, which becomes a responsibility of new administrations, an inefficient system in its social legitimacy and with symptoms of lack of institutionalization.Key words: Educational changes.
