“Encontrando Bianca”: discursos sobre o corpo-travesti

Este artigo objetiva realizar uma análise dos discursos produzidos sobre o corpo travesti em um vídeo educativo. Toma-se como corpus de análise o vídeo: “Encontrando Bianca”, que narra uma história fictícia sobre os dilemas de uma travesti na escola em que estuda. Esse vídeo compõe parte do material educativo Kit anti-homofobia. Faz-se como opção metodológica trabalhar a partir da arqueogenealogia foucaultiana, uma vez que esse acontecimento se insere numa ordem de saber e poder. A conclusão é de que o vídeo, constituindo-se como uma produção discursiva, pode, no lugar de realizar seu propósito de combate à homofobia, apresentar um poder ressurgido que aprisiona o corpo a um discurso ideal e cria um corpo idealizado para as travestis.AbstractThis article aims to conduct an analysis of the discourses produced on the transvestite body in an educational video. It takes as a corpus of analysis the video Meeting Bianca, which tells a fictional story about the dilemma of a transvestite studying at a school. This video is part of an educational kit called “School without homophobia”. The methodological option was to work with the Foucauldian arche-genealogy, understanding that the event is inscribed in a relationship of power and knowledge. It concludes that the video, which constitutes a discursive production, maypresent a revived power, which locks the body in an idealistic discourse, producing an idealized body for the transvestites, instead of fighting against homophobia.Keywords Homophobia, transvestite, body, sexuality.
