Resumo: | The remarks on this paper are on some considerations about aContinued Formation Program – Pro – Literacy – developed by the NationalGraduate Network for teachers of Elementary Education from the Ministry ofEducation made by MEC and by five Continued Education Centers, under thecoordination of Brazilian Universities. Some characteristics and the preliminaryevaluation of the actions of the Pre-Literacy of the Mathematics Program arepresented, developed by the state of São Paulo by the Continued Formation Program of Math Education, Scientific and Environmental (CECEMCA), locatedin Bauru. Some tutor teachers participated on the Pro – Literacy MathematicsProgram in the state of São Paulo, in the initial phase. The results showed thatthe participant teachers in the Pro – Literacy started having a differentconception of the teaching of Mathematics in schools having its practice as astarting point. |

The results showed thatthe participant teachers in the Pro – Literacy started having a differentconception of the teaching of Mathematics in schools having its practice as astarting point.Assinalam-se aqui algumas considerações sobre um Programa de Formação Continuada – Pró-Letramento – desenvolvido pela Rede Nacional de Formação de Professores de Educação Básica do Ministério da Educação, formada pelo MEC e por cinco Centros de Educação Continuada, sob a coordenação de universidades brasileiras. São apresentadas algumas características do Programa e a avaliação preliminar das ações do Pró-Letramento de Matemática, desenvolvidas no Estado de São Paulo pelo Centro de Educação Continuada em Educação Matemática, Científica e Ambiental (Cecemca), núcleo de Bauru. Foram participantes 139 professores tutores do Programa Pró-Letramento de Matemática do Estado de São Paulo, fase inicial. Os resultados demonstram que, a partir do Pró-Letramento, os professores cursistas começaram a ter um outro olhar em relação ao ensino da Matemática escolar, tendo como ponto de partida a sua prática educativa.
