Resumo: This work explores the subject of the corporeal transformation and creativity in art, focused on the relationship of the body with the audiovisual technology. To study these relationships, I researched the shamanic ritual called maraká, performed by the indigenous people Asuriní of Xingu, the operational elements of its performance and the relationships that the shaman and wanapy - ritual papers of maraká - develop with the preparation of the space and the handling of the plastic components as agents of their corporeal transformation. I accompanied the process of preparing the ritual space of maraká, and observed the performance of rites. This investigation, in its turn, supplied resources to observe a specific relationship that the bodies develop with the contemporary technologies: these elements are used to transform perceptions. Building this subject from this point of view, I created an interactive installation using digital technological resources, whose contents are reflective of experience obtained in the field.

Para estudar estas relações, investiguei no ritual xamanístico denominado maraká, realizado pelo povo indígena Asuriní do Xingu, os elementos operacionais de sua performance, as relações que o xamã e o wanapy - papéis rituais do maraká - desenvolvem com a preparação do espaço e o manuseio de objetos plásticos enquanto agentes de sua transformação corporal. Acompanhei o processo de preparação do espaço ritual do maraká e assisti à realização de ritos. Esta investigação, por sua vez, forneceu recursos para observar uma relação específica entre os corpos e as tecnologias contemporâneas: estes elementos são utilizados para transformar as percepções.
