Resumo: Over the last decades, a lot has been said about the relations, frictions, and tensions that bring together anthropological and historical approaches to various subjects. The focus on the intersections of these fields of knowledge is especially evident in the case of critical inquiries about regimens and uses of sources, documents, and archives. Frequently referred to as “historical anthropology” and/or “cultural history”, the boundaries that shape and define Anthropology, History and their articulation with other disciplines have consciously been blurred and transgressed by many scholars. Named “Sources, documents, and archives on the border of Anthropology, History and other fields of knowledge”, this dossier presents examples of this insubmissive approach to varied sources - administrative and academic documents, popular stories, oral memories, among others. In this sense, the papers gathered and organized here not only challenge their sources, but also shed light to the efforts to create other archives and question the truths about the past they are supposed to hold.

Esta atención se ha hecho aún más evidente ante las indagaciones más críticas sobre los regímenes y usos de fuentes, documentos y archivos. A menudo denominadas con nombres en clave como "antropología histórica" y/o "historia cultural", las fronteras que conforman la Antropología, la Historia y su articulación con otros saberes han sido, para muchos de nosotros, intencionadamente transgredidas, borradas y diluidas. Este dossier, "Fuentes, documentos y archivos en la frontera entre Antropología, Historia y otros saberes" subraya tales esfuerzos de insumisión y convergencia desde los más variados campos empíricos -documentos administrativos, “causos populares”, documentos académicos, memorias orales, etc.-. Los artículos aquí reunidos y organizados no sólo cuestionan lo registrado en fuentes y archivos, sino que también arrojan luz sobre los esfuerzos por producir otros archivos y/o disputar las verdades contenidas en ellos sobre un pasado histórico a cuestionar y poner bajo escrutinio.Nas últimas décadas, muito tem se produzido sobre as relações, fricções e tensões entre os fazeres antropológicos e historiográficos. Tal atenção tem sido ainda mais evidente diante de indagações críticas sobre os regimes e usos de  fontes, documentos e arquivos. Denominada muitas vezes por codinomes como “antropologia histórica” e/ou “história cultural”, as fronteiras que conformam Antropologia, História e sua articulação com outros saberes têm, por muitos de nós, sido intencionalmente transgredidas, borradas e esmaecidas.
