Localizado entre as Rodovias Santos Dumont e Bandeirantes, a 11 quilômetros do centro citadino, o bairro foi construído na década de 1960 pelo poder público campineiro, a partir de um projeto de higienização urbana. Cortiços foram demolidos, casas de prostituição fechadas e as prostitutas que moravam e trabalhavam em áreas consideradas nobres, o que significa falar em espaços urbanística e economicamente valorizados, foram levadas para os confins da cidade. Entre 2016 e 2017 realizei entrevistas com moradoras, moradores, trabalhadoras, trabalhadores e comerciantes do Jardim Itatinga, interessando-me pelas relações cotidianas que se dão nesse espaço. A partir das entrevistas, então, que constituem o corpus desta pesquisa, pergunto-me: quais laços enlaçam sujeitos e Jardim Itatinga e de que modo os sujeitos ali (r)esistem? É nas condições de produção de um bairro criado pelo Estado para ser o lugar da prostituição na cidade, num espaço política, histórica e geograficamente segregado, lugar de morada e de trabalho para quase duas mil prostitutas, lar e lugar de trabalho para muitos sujeitos, que relações sociais se estreitam e se entrelaçam. Assim, com o objetivo de compreender como se constituem esses laços, analiso o discurso fundador, que perpetua uma história de confinamento da prostituição na cidade, perguntando por modos de deslize nesse discurso. Busco compreender, também, como sujeitos e sentidos se movimentam nas condições de produção do bairro Jardim Itatinga, a partir da análise das designações casa [de família], casa [de prostituição], dona de casa [de família], dona de casa [de prostituição], dono de casa [de prostituição]. Considero a elipse como fissura na língua que possibilita o encontro com a história, permitindo o trânsito de sentidos e a inscrição do sujeito, e considero que o espaço, em sua composição material, significa e é significado pelos sujeitos a partir da relação que estabelecem com o lugar de vivência, de convivência, de morada, de trabalho. No Jardim Itatinga, o desenho urbano privilegia o espaço público, por isso a rua, em seu funcionamento equívoco, é um lugar de entrada analítica. O espaço público, no Jardim Itatinga, significa na tensão entre a memória da exclusão histórico-político-ideológica cravada na cidade e as diferentes práticas de uso desse espaço. Também o trabalho se constitui como um dos recortes analíticos, visto ser um dos laços fundamentais entre sujeitos e espaço. Chego às brechas cotidianas que possibilitam que o sujeito (r)esista no Jardim Itatinga. Ressalto que são vidas que compõem as entrevistas coletadas. Parafraseando Michel Pêcheux, questiono: o que, senão a vida, se revolta e resiste?Abstract: It is in the city of Campinas-SP where Jardim Itatinga is located, a space that constitutes the object of study of this thesis. Placed between the roads Santos Dumont and Bandeirantes, at 11 km away from the city center, that neighborhood was built in the decade of 1960s by the political power of Campinas, based on a project of urban hygienization. Tenements were demolished, houses of prostitution were closed, and the prostitutes who lived and worked in the areas deemed noble, which means spaces urban and economically valued, were taken to the limits of the city. Between 2016 and 2017, I conducted interviews with men and women residents, male and female workers and salespeople of Jardim Itatinga; my interest laid on the everyday relationships that happen in that space. Based on this interviews, which, thus, comprise this research corpus, I raise the question: what are the bonds that intertwine subjects and the Jardim Itatinga neighborhood, and by which means those subjects (r)esist? It is in the conditions of production of a neighborhood created by the Estate to be the place of prostitution in the city, in a political space, historically and geographically segregated, a place of residence and work for almost two thousand prostitutes, home and workplace for many other people, that the social relationships get close and interwoven. Thus, aiming to understand how those bonds are constituted, I analyze the foundational discourse, which perpetuates a history of confinement of the prostitution in the city, questioning about the modes of slippage in this discourse. I also seek to understand how subjects and meanings move in the conditions of production of the Jardim Itatinga neighborhood whereby the analysis of the designations house [of family], house [of prostitution], housekeeper, brothel-keeper (in Portuguese, housewife or househusband of a house of prostitution, its managers). I consider the ellipsis a crack in language that makes possible the meeting with history, allowing the transit of meanings and the subjects inscription; I also consider that the space, in its material composition, signifies and it is signified by the subjects through the relationship they establish with this place of existence, coexistence, dwelling, and work. In Jardim Itatinga, the urban form privileges the public space, which is why the street, in its equivocal working, is a point of analytical entrance. The public space, in Jardim Itatinga, produces meanings in the tension between the memory of historical-political-ideological exclusion embedded in the city and the different practices of usage of this space. Likewise, "work" is considered as one of the analytical approaches, once it is one of the fundamental bonds among subjects and space. I arrive at the everyday gaps that make possible to the subject (r)esist in Jardim Itatinga. I emphasize that lives comprise the interviews.
