Para tanto realizamos um breve percurso histórico social do futebol feminino no Brasil, analisamos como se processa a construção dos papéis sociais colocados para a mulher relacionando-a com o espaço de exclusão/inclusão no universo futebolístico nacional e norte-americano. Esta trajetória procurou manter-se atrelada ao desenvolvimento da formação social da mulher brasileira, observando os diferentes contextos, grupos e classes sociais que as mesmas pertencem. Utilizamos alguns autores da historiografia como Rago, Hobsbawn e de alguns autores que versam sobre as relações de gênero como Louro, Scott e Mourão, dentre outros. Realizamos um estudo de caso da extinta Equipe de Futebol Feminino do Guarani F.C., tendo sua existência ocorrida nos anos de 1983 a 1985, na cidade de Campinas, SP. Através de entrevistas concedidas por ex-atletas dessa equipe, observamos que as mesmas indicaram a sua prática no interior do futebol estava atrelada aos conteúdos do lazer. Finalizamos esta pesquisa defendendo a idéia de que o futebol é um espaço também das mulheres. Este "pedaço" se define com o direito de sua participação. Aceitamos a participação conjunta entre ambos os sexos, mas também entendemos que às particularidades da diferença deva articular um caminho para o respeito da convivência, e o respeito de uma identidade possível do gênero humanoAbstract: This research aims at identifying, discussing and understanding the possible articulations between leisure, gender and football. For this purpose we have made a short tour through the social history of female football in Brazil, we've analyzed how the social roles put to women are built relating this to the inclusion/exclusion space on the Brazilia and North-American universe of football. This route has tried to keep attached to the development of the social formation of the Brazilian woman, observing the different contexts, groups and social classes to which they belong. We have used some authors from the historiography such as Rago and Hobsbawn as well as authors which deal with relations of gender like Louro, Scott and Mourão among others. We have done a case-study of the extinct female football team of the Guarani Football Club which existed ITom 1983 to 1985, in the city of Campinas in Sao Paulo. Through interviews given by the ex-athletes of this team, we've observed that they have indicated that their practice inside the football was somehow attached to contents of leisure. We end this research defending the idea that the football is also a space of women. This "bit" is defined with the right of their participation.
