Buscamos, neste trabalho, responder a essas questões do lugar teórico da Analise do Discurso, linha francesa, tomando, como material empírico de análise, a oração Ave Maria e a obra Um santo para cada dia. Constituímos corpus de nossa análise: 1. as narrativas marianas, incluindo a oração, em relação com a narrativa de Santa Luzia; 2. a obra, enquanto calendário de comemorações religiosas; e 3. o fato de as narrativas e o calendário circularem no interior de uma instituição, a Igreja. Por sustentar-se na relação entre os planos espiritual e temporal, Orlandi (1987:246), o discurso religioso constitui-se num espaço simbólico, no qual são instauradas as instâncias discursivas - territorialidade, temporalidade e arquitetura ¿ cujos sentidos são presididos e administrados pela Igreja. A cruz, o artesanato, e as aparições - linguagem não-verbal - atestam a relação entre esses planos, textualizando-a para o sujeito-fiel. Assim, constituem-se em marcos do plano espiritual e senha de entrada ao espaço simbólico da mística religiosa. Buscando compreender o funcionamento discursivo das narrativas e do calendário, consideramos, em nossa análise, que as narrativas instituem uma posição sujeito-leitor intercambiável com a posição sujeito-fiel: ser leitor das narrativas é estar ideologicamente inscrito na discursividade religiosa, submetendo-se, explicitamente, à crença e aos seus rituais. O calendário de comemorações religiosas configura uma temporalidade discursiva, instaurando o efeito de companhia efetiva dos santos junto ao fiel e organizando o seu tempo. A Igreja constitui-se, assim, num espaço de interpretação, visto que atribui aos fatos uma relação de causa de conseqüência. Os fatos reclamam sentidos, e a Igreja os dáAbstract: How are the processes of construction of sanctity meanings given? And how are the meanings of the religious mysticism constituted? We try, in this work, to answer to answer these questions from the theoretical place the Discourse Analysis of the Speech, French line, taking, as empiricist material of analysis, the prayer Holly Mother and the work Um santo para cada dia We constitute the corpus of our analysis: 1. the marianas narratives, including the prayer, in relation to the narrative of Saint Luzia; 2. the work, while calendar of religious commemorations; and 3. the fact that the narratives and the calendar circulate inside an institution, the Church. Owing to the fact ofbeing supported by the relation between the spiritual and temporal plans, Orlandi (1987:246), the religious speech consists in a symbolic space, in which the discursives instances are established - territoriality, temporality and architecture - which meanings are presided over and managed by the Church. The cross, the handicraft, and the apparitions - non-verbal language - certify the relation between these plans, textualizing it for the believer. Thus, they consist in spiritual landmarks and an entering password for the symbolic space of the religious mysticism. Trying to understand the discursive functioning of the narratives and the calendar, we consider, in our analysis, that the narratives institute an interchangeable discursive position between the reader's and the believer's ones: being a reader of the narratives is to be ideologically enrolled in the religious discursivity, submitting, explicitly, to the belief and its rituaIs. The calendar of religious commemorations configures a discursive temporality, establishing the effect of effective company of the Saints and the believer together and organizing its time. The Church consists, thus, in a space of interpretation, since it attributes to the facts a relation of cause and consequence.
