Resumo: This article takes a look at the agro institutional campaign Agro: a indústria-riqueza do Brasil. The initiative produced and carried by Rede Globo de Televisão, from 2016, is marked by a repeat, every day, in the commercial spaces of the network's programming grid. In this reflection, we analyze the modes of meaning of the agro formulation as the proposal of a new concept, which updates the relations between city, countryside, urban and rural. The study is guided by Discourse Analysis, in the perspectives of Michel Pêcheux and Eni Orlandi, thinking about the relationships that link the historical, ideological and political to an agro that, in the statement of Rede Globo, is inseparable from technology, of all kinds of people and covers all sectors that move the country's economy.

A iniciativa, produzida e veiculada pela Rede Globo de Televisão, a partir de 2016, é marcada pela repetição diária nos espaços comerciais da grade de programação da emissora. Nesta reflexão, analisa-se os modos de significação da formulação agro como a proposta de um novo conceito, que atualiza as relações entre cidade, campo, urbano e rural.
