Resumo:  Cities are the best examples of our complex humanity. Joining studies on the city and ethnography has been the object of reflection on how our society recognizes, it plans, and it circulates through different public equipment. The objective of this research is to understand the socialization mechanisms of Skateboarders on a public track. In doing so, we want to contribute to the area of ethnographic studies that treat as research the daily leisure of large cities and their urbanization process. As a result, we present the categories of analysis that are related to the legitimacy of circulation through the Skater's ability to perform maneuvers in this environment, interpersonal relationships that constitute the possibility of having their achievements recorded and strategies for better use of the environment and the search for environmental comfort.

Unir estudos sobre a cidade e a etnografia tem sido objeto de reflexão sobre como nossa sociedade se reconhece, planeja e circula através dos diferentes equipamentos públicos. O objetivo dessa pesquisa é compreender os mecanismos de socialização de praticantes de Skate em uma pista pública. Ao fazermos isso, queremos contribuir com a área dos estudos etnográficos que tratam como investigação o cotidiano de lazer das grandes cidades e do seu processo de urbanização.
