Ten years of the June 2013 protests: meanings materialized in journalistic headlines

Resumo: In june 2023, turned ten years largest protests knowing by an alternative name “June Journeys” (after public protests initiated mainly by Movimento Passe Livre (Free Fare Movement). This research aims at analyzing how the day-to-day journalistic headlines recording these historical facts. The analytical interpretation about “ten years” transmitted by Brazilian press carries out a specific meaning process. Based on French discourse analysis and analytical interpretation about singular remarks, this research focuses on dominant evidences about chronological historical ways to remembering and the mass media paths and their ways to control the meaning of causes and consequences.

O estranhamento, por meio de escuta analítica, da repetição do enunciado “dez anos”, tal como veiculado em manchetes jornalísticas, permitiu percorrer alguns sentidos em disputa em um corpus formado por onze sequências discursivas (nível da formulação). Estas últimas indicam modos da mídia recordar estas manifestações de rua, ocorridas em diversas cidades brasileiras.
