Grammatica historica da lingua portugueza a hundred years later: notes on the moviment of (re)signification of a book

Resumo: In this paper, based on the discursive perspective of the History of Linguistic Ideas, I propose to reflect on the process of (re)signification of the Grammatica Historica da Lingua Portugueza, by Said Ali, throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, in texts organized through historiography gestures. The purpose of this analysis is to understand a possible path taken by this work in the (meta-)history of Brazilian linguistic-grammatical knowledge. The research made it possible to observe an ambiguous movement in the interpretation of this grammar book with regard to its title, its theoretical affiliations, its material form and the relationship established with the other grammar books regrouped under the name of Said Ali.
