Resumo: In this essay, Michael Pêcheux brings close to one another different epistemiological moments in Linguistics, showing that the features which brings together and break apart the theoretical alliances which characterize these moments have their origin in the historical process of constitution of the discipline itself. The author shows that the saussuream cut is still evanescent: in relation to it the different linguistic theories produce separations and returns. By taking into account the equivoque as constitutive of language, Pêcheux defends that linguistic reseach must build producedures capable of dealing with this " structurtal fact entailed in the symbolic order".
