MPL and MBL: paulist avenue and movement before P & B – a reflection on algorithmic formation

Resumo: This article, affiliated with the Discourse Analysis theory, analyzes two photos of the occupation of Avenida Paulista: the first, in 2013, by the Free Pass Movement (MPL), and the second, in 2016, by the Free Brazil Movement (MBL). For this analysis, we will mobilize some concepts from the field of AD, such as discursive formation, discursive memory, metallic memory, image, digital memory, to move theoretically and analytically on what Dias (2011) explains to us by stating that the city is modified by digital. To this end, we will also mobilize the notion of conditions of production, brought by Pêcheux in his book AAD-69, which is essential for thinking about the questions posed here. When we think today about how the author was already addressing questions that involved digital discourse, we believe that looking at such questions, in an attempt to create new analytical devices that help in understanding the advances achieved in the area.

Para essa análise, mobilizaremos alguns conceitos do campo da AD, como formação discursiva, memória discursiva, memória metálica, imagem, memória digital, para avançarmos teórica e analiticamente sobre aquilo que Dias (2011) nos explica ao afirmar que a cidade é modificada pelo digital. Para tal, mobilizaremos também a noção de condições de produção, trazida por Pêcheux em seu livro AAD-69, e que é essencial para pensarmos as questões aqui colocadas em jogo.
