Resumo: The emergence of television in Brazil, in 1950, brought new cultural habits and consumption of media content to people's daily lives. In the 1960s, these habits began to be consolidated mostly because of the development of the Brazilian entertainment industry and mass culture. It was during this period that the first specialized TV magazines emerged in Brazil, which presented and commented on television programming. This work analyzes the humor sections of the Intervalo magazine (1963-1972), by Editora Abril, which is one of the best known Brazilian publications on TV from the 1960s and 1970s. Based on Mikhail Bakhtin's perspective and aspects of culture in the 1960s in Brazil, this article seeks to understand how the weekly magazine presented through cartoons the world of TV to its readers in a light and fun way.

En la década de 1960, esos hábitos empezaron a ser afirmados, principalmente en virtud del desarrollo de la cultura de masa y de la industria del entretenimiento brasileño. Fue en ese período que surgieron las primeras revistas especializadas en TV en Brasil, que presentaban y comentaban la programación televisiva. El presente trabajo analiza las secciones de humor de la revista Intervalo (1963-1972), de la Editora Abril, una de las más conocidas publicaciones brasileñas sobre TV de las décadas de 1960 y 1970. Teniendo como base teorética la perspectiva de Mikhail Bakhtin y aspectos de la cultura en los años 1960 en Brasil, buscase comprender como, por medio de las charges, el semanario presentó el mundo de la TV a sus lectores de forma sencilla y divertida.O surgimento da televisão no Brasil, em 1950, trouxe novos hábitos culturais e de consumo de conteúdos midiáticos para o cotidiano das pessoas. Na década de 1960, esses hábitos começaram a ser consolidados, principalmente em virtude do desenvolvimento da cultura de massa e indústria do entretenimento brasileiro. É nesse período que surgem as primeiras revistas especializadas em TV no Brasil, que apresentavam e comentavam a programação televisiva. O presente trabalho analisa as seções de humor da revista Intervalo (1963-1972), da Editora Abril, uma das mais conhecidas publicações brasileiras das décadas de 1960 e 1970 sobre TV.
