About Encounters and Scars: the experience of researching and acting with homeless people

Resumo: The aim of this article is to analyze the scars produced in the process of researching with homeless people, in dialogue with Walter Benjamin's concepts of experience and narrative, as well as Spinoza's discussions on body and affections. Three scars were analyzed: the city as a power of encounter; the feminism pulsating in the streets; and the image of a collage made from photographs of the costumes created by the research participants for a play they starred in.

Three scars were analyzed: the city as a power of encounter; the feminism pulsating in the streets; and the image of a collage made from photographs of the costumes created by the research participants for a play they starred in.    El objetivo de este artículo es analizar las cicatrices producidas en el proceso de investigar con personas en situación de calle, en diálogo con los conceptos de experiencia y narrativa de Walter Benjamin, así como las discusiones de Espinoza sobre cuerpo y afecciones. Se analizaron tres cicatrices: la ciudad como potencia de encuentro; el feminismo que pulsa en las calles; y la imagen de un collage hecho con fotografías de los disfraces creados por los participantes de la investigación para una obra de teatro en la que fueron protagonistas.  O objetivo deste artigo é analisar as cicatrizes produzidas no processo de pesquisas com pessoas em situação de rua, em diálogo com os conceitos de experiência e narrativa de Walter Benjamin, bem como as discussões de Espinosa sobre corpo e afecções.
