Resumo: The event approached the subject under an interdisciplinary approach and counted with the participation of famous researchers and physicians, proceeding from various states of Brazil. We present in this special volume, some articles on TMD, boarded in this event. The articles were written by professionals of different areas. Our special gratefulness to Prof. Dr. Sergio Roberto Peres Line, Scientific Editor of this periodic, for the opportunity, attention and significant contribution. We expect in this way to contribute for a reflection and better understanding on this important, controversial and fascinating subject, that are the Temporomandibular Disorders.
