Resumo: The aim of this work is to evaluate different doses of potassium in soybean crop, none of which was used in a randomized block design (DBC) with 5 treatments and 5 replications, being ran-domly drawn and each treatment in plots of 9 m². The instruments used were T1: control, with 0 Kg of Potassium per hectare, T2: with application of 20 Kg of Potassium per hectare, T3: with application of 40 Kg of Potassium per hectare, T4: with application of 60 Kg of Potassium per hectare and T5: with application of 80 Kg of Potassium per hectare. The requirements that were made are in accordance with the agronomic characteristics of the soybean crop, such as yield, height, number of pods, number of grains per pod, height of insertion of the first pod and even the weight of a thousand grains. Thus, from the collected data, they were treated with analysis of variance, to find out if there is any difference between treatments. Concluding that the broadcast potassium fertilization in corrected sandy soils, when there is an impact of rainfall shortage in the initial period and not higher in the final period, potassium fertilization does not respond complacently to the development, providing stability for the soybean crop.
