A contribuição da espiritualidade no processo de enfrentamento do luto decorrente do aborto: uma revisão sistemática

Resumo: Pregnancy represents a dream for many women, and most of them face multiple positive expectations. However, some pregnant women are unable to realize this dream as a result of an abortion. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the contribution of spirituality in coping with the mourning resulting from abortion, because, in the area of Obstetrics, there are few studies on this subject. In order to carry out this research, the systematic literature review was adopted as a methodology, through the analysis of articles and dissertations, using the following descriptors: abortion, spirituality, mourning and obstetrics. Five articles and two dissertations were selected that addressed the coping with bereavement resulting from abortion, which was the search criterion used. The result of the analysis demonstrated the use of reduced samples and it was concluded that there was a contribution of spirituality in overcoming the mourning resulting from abortion, both to supply the absence of professional help and to offer comfort and explanations for the loss.

Entretanto, algumas gestantes não conseguem realizar esse sonho, em decorrência de um aborto. Sendo assim, este trabalho objetivou identificar a contribuição da espiritualidade no enfrentamento do luto decorrente do aborto, porque, na área de Obstetrícia, existem parcos estudos sobre esse assunto. Para a realização da presente pesquisa, adotou- se como metodologia, a revisão sistemática de literatura, por meio da análise de artigos e dissertações, utilizando- se os seguintes descritores: aborto, espiritualidade, luto e Obstetrícia. Foram selecionados cinco artigos e duas dissertações que abordavam o enfrentamento do luto decorrente de aborto, sendo esse o critério de busca utilizado.
