Resumo: | This study aimed to develop a mobile educational application for dentistry students. With this tool, it was sought to create a method of learning as a dynamic and innovative alternative, complementing the existing pedagogical techniques. The game was inspired by the mobile application “Who am I?”, in which the player must find out what word appears on the screen, without visualizing it, just listening to tips. The MIT App Inventor platform was used for the construction of the application, which enabled the formation of a simple and effective prototype, capable of idealizing the functioning of the game. In the application, common subjects of the dentistry course were approached, however, to exemplify, only the Fixed Prosthesis was used, more specifically Molding Materials. This project, therefore, sought to develop a simple and effective study tool, which will collaborate for a high educational quality and effective learning of dentistry students. |

Com esta ferramenta, buscou-se criar uma forma de aprendizado, complementando as técnicas pedagógicas já existentes, trazendo este jogo como uma alternativa dinâmica e inovadora. O jogo foi inspirado no aplicativo de celular “Quem sou eu?”, em que o jogador deve descobrir qual palavra aparece na tela, sem visualizá-la, apenas ouvindo dicas. Para a construção do aplicativo, utilizou-se a plataforma MIT App Inventor, que possibilitou a formação de um protótipo simples e eficaz, capaz de idealizar o funcionamento do jogo. No aplicativo, foram abordadas disciplinas comuns do curso de odontologia, todavia, para exemplificar utilizou-se apenas a Prótese Fixa, mais especificadamente Materiais de Moldagem.
