Resumo: This article aims to survey pathologies in reinforced concrete bridges, identifying possible anomalies in the structure – which can interfere with the conservation and use of the work – and deformities in development, to avoid risks to passersby. The case study is constituted by the visual inspection that, from the theoretical basis, allows the specific pathologies of the structure to be raised. For this, the Ponte Sobre o Rio Barigui was taken as the object of analysis, located on the border between the cities of Araucária and Curitiba, both belonging to the state of Paraná. In addition, it was necessary to carry out the classification of the structure's condition according to NBR 9452. In this way, from the study carried out through the form and the routine inspection method, it is possible to evidence a significant number of pathologies arranged along with the structure, that results in a bad condition for the Special Work of Art (OAE).

O estudo de caso constitui-se pela inspeção visual que, a partir do embasamento teórico, permite com que sejam levantadas as patologias específicas da estrutura. Para isso, tomou-se como objeto de análise a Ponte Sobre o Rio Barigui, localizada na divisa entre as cidades de Araucária e Curitiba, ambas pertencentes no estado do Paraná. Além disso, foi necessário realizar a classificação de condição da estrutura conforme a NBR 9452.
