Resumo: The concrete wall system has been gaining more space in Brazilian’s construction industry. Social programs, such as “Minha Casa, Minha Vida” contributes to the demand for housing, that has been growing in recent years. Construction companies are increasingly seeking to carry out works in the shortest time possible and reducing costs, without losing the quality and performance of buildings. Those companies have been founding these characteristics in concrete wall works, that are already widely used in other countries such as Mexico and Chile. The aim of this work is studying the characteristics of that system, from the foundation until the final finish in multi-floor buildings, considering the way it is executed and also the materials used.The initial cost tends to be high due to the manufacture of the molds and the locking system necessary for the execution, but some builders manage to use the same plans on different terrains, thus being able to reuse the same molds in up to 5 similar works. It was found that the construction system of concrete walls can be an alternative when the subject is the construction of economic housing of social interest, because with the reduction in the cost of execution, the final value tends to be lower to the consumer. The system of reusable metal forms also contributes to the environmental issue, reducing the use of wood in the execution. Issues related to electrical and hydro-sanitary installations are well resolved and are not an obstacle to adopting the system.

As construtoras estão buscando cada vez mais executar obras no menor tempo possível e diminuindo o custo, sem perder a qualidade e o desempenho das edificações. Encontraram essas características nas obras de paredes de concreto que já são muito utilizados em outros países, como México e Chile. O objetivo deste trabalho é estudar as características do sistema, desde a fundação até o acabamento em edificações de multipavimentos, contemplando a forma com que é executada e os materiais utilizados. O custo inicial tende a ser alto devido à fabricação das fôrmas e ao sistema de travamento necessários para a execução, mas algumas construtoras conseguem utilizar plantas iguais em terrenos diferentes, podendo assim reutilizar em até 5 obras similares as mesmas formas. Verificou-se que o sistema construtivo de paredes de concreto pode ser uma alternativa quando o assunto é execução de habitações econômicas de interesse social, pois, com a diminuição do custo na execução, o valor final tende a ser menor para o consumidor. O sistema de formas metálicas reutilizáveis também contribui para a questão ambiental, diminuindo o uso de madeira na execução.
