Resumo: The integration between the different areas of dentistry is necessary to establish a correct treatment plan that meets the patient's expectations, respecting the limits of the case. The main objective of this paper is to report the importance of communication between the different spheres of the profession within an extensive rehabilitation plan. Female patient, 50 years old, attending a private clinic complaining of mobility in fixed prosthesis, and disharmony in the smile. After clinical and radiographic evaluation, a treatment plan was devised involving the fields of endodontics, periodontology and prosthesis. During the case, adverse situations arose that prolonged the process, and highlighted the importance and difficulties of a complex and integrated treatment. Subjecting the patient to endodontic treatment of the abutment teeth, aesthetic and prosthetic lengthening of clinical crown, and making a new fixed prosthesis.

O objetivo principal desse trabalho é relatar a importância da comunicação entre as diferentes esferas da profissão dentro de um planejamento reabilitador extenso. Paciente do gênero feminino, 50 anos de idade, procurou atendimento em clínica particular com queixa de mobilidade em prótese fixa, e desarmonia no sorriso. Após avaliação clínica e radiográfica, foi traçado um plano de tratamento envolvendo os campos da endodontia, periodontia e prótese. Ao decorrer do caso, surgiram situações adversas que prolongaram o processo, e evidenciaram a importância e as dificuldades de um tratamento complexo e integrado.
