Resumo: | For 30 years, Brazil has been standing out in the production of ethanol, being the second bigger worldwide producer. During the production of this biofuel occurs the creation of high volumes of stillage. The reutilization of stillage through fertigation at the sugarcanes is a consolidated practice, for it contributes in the increasing of productivity of sugar cane, being a source of water, organic material and nutrients. This way, it was objectived to avaluate he initial development of the sugar cane, fertigated with stillage associated or not to the bactéria Bacillus subtilis. The experiment was made in vases with delineation entirely randomised, with 6 treatments and 4 repetitions/treatments, being T1 – Witness (water); T2 – Concentrated stillage; T3 - Bacillus subtilis + stillage; T4 - Bacillus subtilis + water, applied twice a week; T5 - Bacillus subtilis + stillage; T6 - Bacillus subtilis + water applied every quarter. Every quarter, it was avaluated the emission of sprouts and, after 90 days, the lenght, umid mass and dry mass from the root, height, umid mass and dry mass from the aerial part, counting of the number of roots. With that, it was observated that there was a meaningful difference only in parameters of number and length of root. About the number of roots, the treatment 4 was the one that had the best result (64,66). About the lenght of the root, there was a variations among the treatments T1 (56,00), T2 (56,66), T3 (61,66). This way, we can conclude that the practice of utilization of stillage as a way to application of the bactéria Bacillus subtilis was viable and still beneficial, because it provided a better root development of the sugar cane plants. |
