Resumo: Coworkings are spaces for sharing work which aims to bring a larger network of contacts between users. In this paper, are initially present the concepts and characteristics of coworkings and a brief historical context on the subject, using bibliographic studies and the internet to provide a greater scope of research. Throughout the article analysis was done in coworkings in the region of Maringá-PR and some points were raised for a better use of space and future prospects. Finally, the article elucidates the concept of sustainable architecture and its typologies and applications in buildings, namely: the use of green roofs, solar energy and rainwater reuse.

No presente trabalho, são apresentados, inicialmente, os conceitos e características de coworkings e um breve contexto histórico sobre o assunto. Para tanto, utilizou-se estudos bibliográficos, internet e pesquisas de campo a fim de proporcionar uma maior abrangência da pesquisa. No decorrer do artigo, foram feitas análises nos coworkings da região de Maringá-PR e alguns pontos foram levantados para um melhor aproveitamento do espaço e perspectivas futuras.
