Resumo: This paper aims to develop an architectural project for an Urban Support Center to Refugees and Immigrants. It will present the problems immigrants face from leaving their country until their arrival and insertion in Brazilian society. The focus of this work lies on how architecture can influence and assist these people during the adaptation process. The support center will reside in the metropolitan region of Maringá-PR, and will offer several aid services, such as mechanisms for their legalization. In adition to its neat architecture, the space will provide an adequate place for those individuals to interact with the local population, while encouraging them socially and culturally .

Nele será apresentada a contextualização do migrante, a fim de entender desde as dificuldades que ele enfrenta ao sair de seu país até a sua chegada e inserção na sociedade brasileira, com enfoque em como a arquitetura pode influenciar e auxiliá-los nesse processo, estando atrelada à humanização dos espaços. O centro de apoio residirá na região metropolitana de Maringá-PR e contará com diversos serviços oferecidos, desde o acolhimento até a prestação de serviços e mecanismos para a sua legalização.
