Resumo: Wild Poinsettia (Euphorbia heterophylla L.) and Beggarticks (Bidens pilosa L.) are among the major invasive plants of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merril) crop. The control method Most commonly used is the chemical, through herbicides, often applied indiscriminately with consequent environmental impact, as well as high cost. However, allelopathic interactions Promoted by secondary metabolites released by plant cover may characterize a Alternative means of combating these undesirable plants. Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) is a forage grass with allelopathic potential for releasing allelochemicals, especially benzoquinone sorgoleone. Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate the allelopathic fraction of sorghum ethyl acetate on the germination and initial growth of black peanut, checking percentage of germination, rate of germination, length of the aerial part and roots, besides the respective biomass, fresh and dry. The experiments were conducted at the Botanic Laboratory of Centro Universitário Cesumar - Unicesumar, using incubation chamber B.O.D. At 25ºC and photoperiod of 12 hours, during four days. The treatments were constituted by different concentrations of the acetate fraction of sorghum ethyl (0, 250, 500, 750 and 1000 ppm). The experimental design was entirely with five replicates, each consisting of 25 seeds distributed in Gerbox. The data were evaluated by analysis of variance and the means between treatmentscompared by the Scott Knott test at 5% significance. The fraction reduced germination and initial growth of invasive plants, constituting a viable alternative to reduce the excessive use of herbicides and environmental impact. Butanormal noncom effect in the invasive analisated effects, without amendoim bravo and picão-black diminuted the length of plants and greater a fresh fresh-picão black.
