Resumo: Considering the multidisciplinary Law field, this study intends to focus on Labor Law, because its scope is respect for labor laws, internal rules of companies, labor agreements and collective agreements, not only with the purpose of avoiding labor liabilities and other legal demands, but to simultaneously protect the human and fundamental rights of its workers. The methodology applied for elaboration of the present study was given through data-collecting, deductive method, and by means of the bibliographical revision of scholars, as well as of specific articles on the subject in question, in order to relate the data for the interpretation , and verification of the effectiveness of implementing a Compliance program. Thus, it is identified as exploratory research with a qualitative approach, in which the objective is to compile data aimed at understanding subjective aspects that cannot be translated into numbers. According to the results, Compliance has specific and less comprehensive requirements in relation to corporate governance, and as it is a preventive and continuous practice in the identification and mitigation of risks, it deals with preventive, extrajudicial measures, ethical conduct, compliance with rules, regularization and consistency with current laws. It is concluded that there is a need for continuous monitoring of the Compliance program, identifying and solving constant risks, in order to curb illicit conduct through two main pillars among the ten of the integrity: audit and training program

A metodologia aplicada para elaboração do presente estudo deu-se por meio do levantamento de dados, pelo método dedutivo, e por meio da revisão bibliográfica de doutrinadores, assim como de artigos específicos sobre o tema em questão, com o intuito de relacionar os dados para a interpretação e constatação da efetividade da implantação de um programa de compliance. Sendo assim, identifica-se como uma pesquisa exploratória de abordagem qualitativa, na qual objetiva-se compilar dados direcionados a compreender aspectos subjetivos que não podem ser traduzidos em números. De acordo com os resultados, O compliance possui requisitos específicos e menos abrangentes em relação à governança corporativa, e por ser uma prática preventiva e contínua na identificação e mitigação de riscos, versa sobre medidas preventivas, extrajudiciais, condutas éticas, de cumprimento de normas, regularização e constância com as leis vigentes.
