The Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is an impairment of neurodevelopment, starting on early childhood, that commonly causes cognitive and behavioral dysfunction, affecting significantly the quality of life of those who are carriers of the disorder. Thus, it is important to rebound the need of a proper and precocious therapeutic intervention, one that acts not only in the core symptoms, but also in the comorbidities. The purpose of this article is, through a literature review, evince the therapeutic proposals about the cannabidiol use, its action mechanism and what are its benefits and disadvantages for the ASD carrier. This study covers an analysis of previously published articles on the data base such as National Library of Medicina (PubMed), Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO), Nature, which approach aspects of cannabidiol use in ASD treatment. According to this, the expectative is to find out essentials information’s that support the use of this drug therapy for treat Autistics. As a consequence, it is also expected that it can be used, in a near future, for pediatric approach those who are ASD carrier, because the earlier is the beginning of the care, better is prognosis.
