Dentro do dossiê “Tradições Protestantes: Leitura Bíblica e Hermenêutica”, este artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre a homilética da Reforma, resgatando aspectos fundamentais da hermenêutica reformatória, sobretudo em torno a compreensão da palavra de Deus por parte de Martim Lutero, bem como, aspectos práticos da homilética do reformador. Considerando também as comemorações dos 500 anos da Reforma, a contribuição do artigo é, além do resgate dos elementos desta tradição, apontar pistas para a reflexão em torno à homilética e a pregação na atualidade e no contexto brasileiro. O artigo inicia como uma reflexão sobre a concepção de palavra de Deus em Lutero. Nas partes seguintes trabalha-se aspectos de uma homilética luterana e do próprio Lutero, para, no final, apresentar uma reflexão sobre os desafios da pregação do Evangelho no contexto.Within the file “Protestant Traditions: Scripture Reading and Hermeneutics”, this article aims to reflect on homiletics of the Reform, rescuing fundamental aspects of Reformation hermeneutics, especially around the understanding of the Word of God by Martin Luther as well, practical aspects of the reformer homiletics. Considering also the celebrations of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, the contribution of the article is not only the rescue of the elements of this tradition, but also point out clues to the reflection on the homiletics and preaching now, in the Brazilian context. The article begins as a reflection on the concept of the Word of God in Luther. In the following parts working up aspects of a Lutheran homiletics and of Luther himself, and on the end, present a reflection on the challenges of preaching the Gospel in the context.
