Resumo: The present study evaluated the performance of the hybrid fish pintachara (Pseudoplatystoma spp.), originated from the procreation of Pseudoplatystoma corruscans (pintado-female) with the Pseudoplatystoma reticulatum (surubim-male), submitted to diets with different protein levels (28%, 32% and 40% crude protein). The study spent 187 days, occurring from March to September of 2016. In this way was used 600 individuals of pintachara (initial weight ≈ 10 g) randomly divided by treatments (T1 28% PB, T2 32% PB and T3 40% PB), containing 200 animals in each tank. Biweekly 10% of each fish groups were submitted to biometrics measurements, to monitoring the weight (g) and furcal length (cm) from the individuals, in parallel were also checked the physical and chemical parameters of the water from the tanks. The results showed that there were no significant differences between the water parameters values, final averages of daily weight, total weight and condition factor (K) among the treatments (ANOVA, p 0.05). The fish treated with the diet of 28% CP (Crude Protein) presented the best apparent food conversion values (AFC = 1.59) and productive efficiency index (PEI = 2.7), being this diet the best economically viable for the production of pintachara in the actual fishing system. Keywords: Feeding; hybrid; fish feeding; pintado; surubim.

Universidade Federal do AmapáUniversidade Federal de RondôniaUNIR, BIGSAL Nutrição AnimalOliveira, Cidiane MeloPiñeyro, Jairo Ildefonso GuimarãesSousa, Raniere Garcez Costa2018-12-31info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionArtigo Avaliado pelos Paresapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/view/392810.18561/2179-5746/biotaamazonia.v8n4p17-20Biota Amazônia (Biote Amazonie, Biota Amazonia, Amazonian Biota); v. 8, n. 4 (2018); 17-202179-5746reponame:Biota Amazôniainstname:Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP)instacron:UNIFAPporhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/view/3928/v4n8p17-20.pdfAmazônia, RondôniaDireitos autorais 2018 Biota Amazônia (Biote Amazonie, Biota Amazonia, Amazonian Biota)http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2019-09-11T12:36:58Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/3928Revistahttp://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biotaONGhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/oai||juliosa@unifap.br2179-57462179-5746opendoar:2019-09-11T12:36:58Biota Amazônia - Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP)false
