Resumo: | The recordson the butterfly fauna that occurs in Amapá are old. This work aimed to make a survey of the butterfly fauna occurring in Macapá, AP. From September 2009 to May 2010 collections of butterflies with insect net sand modified the type Van Someren-Rydon traps were performed. Sampling was conducted in the districts of Macapá and through monthly sampling in the Municipal Zoobotanical Park. Intrap collections made with specimens of 13 species of Nymphalidae were obtained. With entomological net 133specimens of 39 species of Nymphalidae, Papilionidae, Pieridae and Riodinidae were captured.Keywords: Nymphalidae; Papilionidae; Pieridae; Amazon. |

Este trabalho teve como objetivo fazer um levantamento da fauna de borboletas que ocorrem em Macapá, AP. No período de setembro de 2009 a maio de 2010 foram realizadas coletas de borboletas com rede entomológica e armadilha modificada do tipo Van Someren-Rydon. As coletas foram realizadas nos bairros de Macapá e através de amostragens mensais no Parque Zoobotânico Municipal de Macapá. Nas coletas realizadas com armadilha foram obtidos exemplares de 13 espécies de Nymphalidae.
