Resumo: Manaus has suffered from the rapid growth of real estate activity without concern for the preservation of much of its green areas, causing changes in variables such as temperature and relative humidity . This study followed the temporal and spatial variations in temperature and relative humidity and made comparisons between the different characteristics of soil use and occupation of the Park District Ten south-central city of Manaus on different days and times. At the roundabout Park Mindu average temperature reached 37.08 °C at 14-15hs and lowest recorded was 26.50 ° C , between the hours of 8 -9hs . In October 2012 the temperature in Avenue Perimeter between 14h and 15h showed values of 31.96 °C and the lowest average recorded occurred between 21h and 22h , registering 29.3 °C. Regarding the relative humidity in September/2012 average of 72% with a variation of 65% to 80% , was observed in October/2012 average was 64% , ranging between 63% to 75% in the march/2013 average of 88% , ranging between 80% to 95%. Interactions occurred mostly on time and month on the ambient temperature and relative humidity. It is concluded that the effect of urbanization become more evident when one considers that the positive trends are highly correlated with the growth trend of the urban area. Keywords: Microclimate; Thermal comfort; Meteorology; Amazon; Urban climate.

Universidade Federal do AmapáMonteiro, José Carlos RamosAride, Paulo Henrique Rochade Oliveira, Adriano TeixeiraPantoja-Lima, JacksonHeyer, Ligia Fonseca2014-08-02info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionArtigo Avaliado pelos Paresapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/view/78010.18561/2179-5746/biotaamazonia.v4n2p20-27Biota Amazônia (Biote Amazonie, Biota Amazonia, Amazonian Biota); v. 4, n. 2 (2014); 20-272179-5746reponame:Biota Amazôniainstname:Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP)instacron:UNIFAPporhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/view/780/v4n2p20-27.pdfhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/downloadSuppFile/780/89https://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/downloadSuppFile/780/90https://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/downloadSuppFile/780/91https://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/downloadSuppFile/780/92Amazonas; Manaus; Bairro Parque DezDireitos autorais 2014 Biota Amazônia (Biote Amazonie, Biota Amazonia, Amazonian Biota)http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2016-04-13T17:58:54Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/780Revistahttp://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biotaONGhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/oai||juliosa@unifap.br2179-57462179-5746opendoar:2016-04-13T17:58:54Biota Amazônia - Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP)false
