Resumo: The realization of standardized inventories of anurans in localities that remain as sample gaps are essential. This study aims to analyze the diversity and temporal composition of anuran species in a fragment of Seasonal Forest in the Uruguay river valley. The study was carried out in an area of Atlantic Forest with 250 ha located in the municipality of São Miguel do Oeste, far west of the state of Santa Catarina. Between the months of November of 2015 and October of 2016 biweekly samplings of three days were realized. The sampling methods used were auditory search and occasional meetings. There were 1542 individuals distributed in nine families, 16 genera and 24 species. The most frequent families were Hylidae and Leptodactylidae. Eight species were considered rare in the area, nine species presented constant occurrence, while the seven remaining species were considered abundant. The highest species richness was recorded in the months of December (N = 17, 70.83%) and November (n = 15, 62.50%), when the air temperature was higher than 23 ° C. There was a positive correlation between species richness and the average monthly temperature (rs = 0.68, t = 3.54, p = 0.004). A species of exotic (Lithobates catesbianus) and three species of threat of extinction in the state of SC (Boana curupi, Crossodactylus schmidti and Vitreorana uranoscopa), indicating that the area is of fundamental importance in the conservation of amphibians in Brazil. This study is an important contribution to increase the knowledge about the fauna of anurans in fragments of Seasonal Forest located under the influence of the Uruguay river. Keywords: Amphibians; conservation; fauna; Atlantic Forest.

Universidade Federal do AmapáPreuss, Jackson Fábio2018-09-30info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionArtigo Avaliado pelos Paresapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/view/366610.18561/2179-5746/biotaamazonia.v8n3p43-48Biota Amazônia (Biote Amazonie, Biota Amazonia, Amazonian Biota); v. 8, n. 3 (2018); 43-482179-5746reponame:Biota Amazôniainstname:Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP)instacron:UNIFAPporhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/view/3666/v8n3p43-48.pdfDireitos autorais 2018 Biota Amazônia (Biote Amazonie, Biota Amazonia, Amazonian Biota)http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2019-09-10T19:55:31Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/3666Revistahttp://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biotaONGhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/oai||juliosa@unifap.br2179-57462179-5746opendoar:2019-09-10T19:55:31Biota Amazônia - Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP)false
