Resumo: The Itacoatiara Peak is inserted not Uruburetama Massif, which is located in the Northwest region of Ceará, covering the territories of Itapipoca, Itapajé, Tururu and Uruburetama. The flora of the massif is under the influence of extensions, which has associated with other factors of threat, can cause a local extinction of species that do not yet exist registered in the region. The aim of this study was to catalog a floristic diversity of climbing plants of the Itacoatiara Peak, Itapipoca-CE, increasing knowledge about its floristic diversity in the state of Ceará. Were registered 53 species, 34 genera and 21 families. Convolvulaceae, Fabaceae, Passifloraceae, Apocynaceae, Bignoniaceae and Dioscoriaceae are the most specific rich families. As woody and herbaceous vines represented 66% and 34%, respectively. The predominant mechanism of ascension was the voluble, occurring in 70% of the species. To implement environmental policies that promote species conservation, knowledge of local diversity is necessary. With the above presupposition, we present cheklist of climbing species with mechanism of ascent, woodiness and diversity chart. Keywords: Biodiversity; climbing, floristic; Pico de Itaquatiara.

As trepadeiras lenhosas e as herbáceas representaram 66% e 34%, respectivamente. Universidade Federal do AmapáMarlene Feliciano FigueiredoUniversidade Estadual Vale do AcarauSantos, Francisco DiegoFigueiredo, Marlene Feliciano2018-06-30info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionArtigo Avaliado pelos Paresapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/view/375210.18561/2179-5746/biotaamazonia.v8n2p4-7Biota Amazônia (Biote Amazonie, Biota Amazonia, Amazonian Biota); v. 8, n. 2 (2018); 4-72179-5746reponame:Biota Amazôniainstname:Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP)instacron:UNIFAPporhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/view/3752/v8n2p4-7.pdfFlorística; Trepadeiras; ConservaçãoDireitos autorais 2018 Biota Amazônia (Biote Amazonie, Biota Amazonia, Amazonian Biota)http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2018-09-11T17:58:04Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/3752Revistahttp://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biotaONGhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/oai||juliosa@unifap.br2179-57462179-5746opendoar:2018-09-11T17:58:04Biota Amazônia - Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP)false
