Resumo: Studies in environments for cave communities are fundamental for the understanding of its fauna and functioning. Are essential environments for the conservation of the biodiversidad, serving as shelter for large numbers of species, among them, the bats. In the state of Pará, studies focused on bats are still scarce, being necessary to increase the research on such important taxon. Therefore, the present study was aimed to provide an inventory of the species of Chiroptera of five caves in the city of Uruará-PA. The collections were performed between the months of October and November 2013, with the use of mist nets. A total of 166 individuals were captured, distributed in nine species, three families and five trophic guilds. As a result, we obtained a greater dominance of Desmodus rotundus (N=63), followed by Carollia perspicilata (N=43)and Pteronotus parnellii (N=27).The results demonstrate the importance of continuing to make inventories with higher number of surveys, including other caves in the region. Keywords: Amazonia; Biodiversity; Chiroptera; Conservation.

Universidade Federal do AmapáCajaiba, Reinaldo Lucas2014-04-08info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionArtigo Avaliado pelos Paresapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/view/88810.18561/2179-5746/biotaamazonia.v4n1p81-86Biota Amazônia (Biote Amazonie, Biota Amazonia, Amazonian Biota); v. 4, n. 1 (2014); 81-862179-5746reponame:Biota Amazôniainstname:Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP)instacron:UNIFAPporhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/article/view/888/v4n1p81-86.pdfCavernas; Chiroptera; Conservação; Diversidade; Inventário.Direitos autorais 2014 Biota Amazônia (Biote Amazonie, Biota Amazonia, Amazonian Biota)http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2016-04-14T13:39:26Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/888Revistahttp://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biotaONGhttps://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/biota/oai||juliosa@unifap.br2179-57462179-5746opendoar:2016-04-14T13:39:26Biota Amazônia - Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP)false
