The diagnostic evaluation use for the entrants in the brazilian technical professional education (high school level): a systematic literature review

Resumo: In Brazil, along its history, the Technical Professional Education in High School level (TPEHS) has evolved into various proposals and, currently, the technical professional capacitation is amply disseminated as High School Technical Courses.  In this educative level some authors believe that the learning divergence and limitations brought from the Elementary School interferes directly on the school success. However, what is observed is that from the beginning of the course, an educational homogeneity among the students is taken for granted, which is not true. Motivated by this, various authors have proposed the use of methodological instruments destined to obtaining information about the students’ learning gap in previous years over the contents assumed as pre-requirements for the course subjects, highlighting among these methodologies the Diagnostic Evaluation (DE). In this paper we present a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) related to the Diagnostic Evaluation in the TPEHS, specifically on the entrant students. Thus, a SLR methodology was developed and is described in this investigation. The results of the SLR final selection are described in a summarized way highlighting the main methodologies and contributions. We concluded that the proposals presented in the papers aim at contributing to reduce the failure rate and evasion from TPEHS and, furthermore, contribute to divulge the theme and open opportunities for further and stronger developments and interventions in the TPEHS.

Y, la Formación Profesional Técnica, actualmente, tiene una amplia difusión en Brasil mediante el formato de los Cursos Técnicos Brasileños. Algunos autores opinan que, durante el Curso de Nivel Medio Brasileño, Secundaria, parte de los retrasos en los contenidos y las limitaciones de aprendizaje de los estudiantes provienen de la educación ofrecida en años anteriores, incluso de la Escuela Primaria. Sin embargo, en muchas ocasiones, lo que se observa, es que al inicio del curso se supone que ha habido una homogeneidad en la formación recibida previamente por los estudiantes, pero esta hipótesis no es cierta. Esta circunstancia sería una de las causas del fracaso y abandono escolar, o sea, de la no permanencia de los estudiantes en la Secundaria. Basándose en esta reflexión, varios autores han propuesto la utilización de recursos metodológicos con el objetivo de obtener información sobre el nivel de retraso educativo, de los estudiantes en años anteriores, en aquellos contenidos que se consideran prerrequisitos para afrontar con éxito las asignaturas del nuevo curso. Entre estos recursos destaca, la metodología de Evaluación Diagnóstica. Así, en este artículo presentamos una Revisión Sistemática de la Literatura (RSL) basada en la utilización de la Evaluación Diagnóstica en la EPTB, dirigida de forma específica a los nuevos estudiantes de ingreso en la Educación Profesional Técnica de Nivel Secundario Brasileña. Con este fin, se desarrolló una metodología RSL descrita en esta investigación. Presentamos en una tabla el resumen de los resultados finales logrado por el proceso de selección de la Revisión Sistemática de la Literatura, resaltando las principales metodologías y aportadas. Concluimos que, las propuestas presentadas en los trabajos seleccionados tienen como objetivo contribuir a la reducción del porcentaje de fracaso y abandono escolar por parte de los estudiantes de la EPTB, además de colaborar en la difusión de este tema y abrir nuevos caminos para llevar a cabo acciones más profundas y beneficiosas en la EPTB.Ao longo de sua história a Educação Profissional Técnica no Nível Médio (EPTNM) do Brasil desenvolveu-se por meio de diversas propostas, sendo que atualmente a habilitação profissional técnica é amplamente difundida na forma de Cursos Técnicos de Nível Médio. Alguns autores acreditam que durante o percurso formativo de nível médio as defasagens de conteúdo e limitações de aprendizagem trazidas do ensino fundamental interferem diretamente no êxito e permanência escolar dos ingressantes. Entretanto, o que se observa muitas vezes é que ao início do curso, é suposto pelo ensino, uma homogeneidade educacional entre os alunos, o que é inverídico. Motivados por esta reflexão, diversos autores têm proposto o uso de instrumentos metodológicos destinados à obtenção de informações sobre o nível de defasagem de aprendizagem em anos anteriores dos alunos com os conteúdos assumido como pré-requisito para as disciplinas do curso, destacando-se dentre estas metodologias a Avaliação Diagnóstica. Neste trabalho apresentamos uma Revisão Sistemática de Literatura (RSL) relacionada ao uso da Avaliação Diagnóstica na EPTNM, especificamente para alunos ingressantes. Para tal, foi desenvolvida uma metodologia de RSL descrita nesta investigação. Os resultados da seleção final da Revisão Sistemática de Literatura são descritos de forma sumarizada destacando as principais metodologias e contribuições.
