From house to school: the process of training and professionalization of teachers in Riachuelo/RN (1960-1980)

Resumo: This paper aim to understand the process of pedagogical training and professional of some teachers in the city of Riachuelo-RN between 1960s to 1980s decades. In this sense it approaches the history of education in the context of RN's countryside, discussing the elements of education itself, local aspects and the training of the first classrooms in this municipality, therefore forming the school culture training process. The used methodology was oral history as a method of interviews, the technique of discourse analysis and teacher's memory analysis, research and bibliographical reading regarding to history of education. As theoretical basis we worked with the conception of History and Memory of Jacques Le Goff, the concept of School Culture of Dominique Julia, for covering a bigger space in the school culture, the context and the school environment and oral history of José Carlos Meihy, indispensable for the procedures of interview as transcriptions, assignment letter, among others. As an initial result of this research, it was identified two important educational projects for lay teachers, the SACI project and the Logos II project, which fulfill a big demand in this teacher training and was were fundamental for this process. With regard to the process of teachers training we will also discuss partly the professionalization process.

En ese sentido aborda la historia de la educación dentro del contexto del interior potiguar, discutiendo los elementos de la propia educación, aspectos locales y la formación de las primeras aulas en este municipio, así constituyendo el proceso de la formación de la cultura escolar. La metodología de trabajo utilizada fue a la historia oral como un método de entrevistas, la técnica de análisis de discurso y de análisis de la memoria de las profesoras investigadas y lecturas bibliográficas referentes a la historia de la educación. Como fundamento teórico, trabajamos con la concepción de Historia y Memoria de Jacques Le Goff, el concepto de Cultura Escolar de Dominique Julia, por abarcar un espacio mayor dentro de la cultura escolar, el contexto y el ambiente escolar, y la historia oral con José Carlos Meihy, indispensable por los procedimientos de las entrevistas como transcripciones, carta de cesión, entre otros. Como resultado inicial de esta investigación identificamos dos importantes proyectos educativos para la formación de profesores laicos, el Proyecto SACI y el Proyecto Logos II que atendieron una gran demanda en esta formación de las profesoras y se constituyeron fundamentales para este proceso. En relación al proceso de profesionalización de las profesoras también discutiremos parcialmente el proceso de profesionalización.Este trabalho tem por objetivo compreender o processo de formação pedagógica e profissional de algumas professoras do município de Riachuelo-RN entre as décadas de 1960 a 1980. Nesse sentido aborda a história da educação dentro contexto do interior potiguar, discutindo os elementos da própria educação, aspectos locais e a formação das primeiras salas de aula neste município, assim constituindo o processo da formação da cultura escolar. A metodologia de trabalho utilizada foi à história oral como um método de entrevistas, a técnica de análise de discurso e de análise da memória das professoras pesquisadas e leituras bibliográficas referentes à história da educação. Como fundamentação teórica, trabalhamos com a concepção de História e Memória de Jacques Le Goff, o conceito de Cultura Escolar de Dominique Julia, por abranger um espaço maior dentro da cultura escola, o contexto e o ambiente escolar, e a história oral com José Carlos Meihy, indispensável pelos procedimentos das entrevistas como transcrições, carta de cessão, entre outros.  Como resultado inicial dessa pesquisa identificamos dois importantes projetos educacionais para a formação de professores leigos, o Projeto SACI e o Projeto Logos II que atenderam uma grande demanda nesta formação das professoras e se constituíram fundamentais para o este processo.
