Nursing care in the fild of men’s health: an integrative review

Resumo: The Unified Health System (SUS), when seeing the need for men to adhere to Primary Health Care, created the National Policy for Integral Attention to Men's Health (PNAISH), in order to improve care and make the multiprofessional team welcome this public according to the principles of the SUS and the policy itself. The objective was to analyze Nursing care in the field of men's health through an integrative review. Methodology: This was a study with a qualitative approach, using the method of an integrative review, which contributes to the analysis of the research and the results. It showed a deficiency of self-care and information both in nursing care and in the male public, showing deficits in the promotion and prevention of diseases and injuries. The PNAISH was not enough to insert men in the context of seeking health care in a preventive way, requiring the deconstruction of the male figure as strong and invulnerable, thus interfering with access to primary care, requiring professional qualification.

El objetivo fue analizar el cuidado de Enfermería en el campo de la salud del hombre a través de una revisión integradora. Metodología: Se trata de un estudio con abordaje cualitativo, utilizando el método de revisión integradora, que contribuye al análisis de la investigación y de los resultados. Mostró deficiencia de autocuidado e información tanto en el cuidado de enfermería como en el público masculino, evidenciando déficits en la promoción y prevención de enfermedades y lesiones. El PNAISH no fue suficiente para insertar a los hombres en el contexto de la búsqueda de salud de forma preventiva, exigiendo la deconstrucción de la figura masculina como fuerte e invulnerable, interfiriendo así en el acceso a la atención primaria, exigiendo calificación profesional.O Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) ao ver a necessidade da adesão dos homens na Atenção Primária à Saúde criou a Política Nacional de Atenção Integral da Saúde do Homem (PNAISH), a fim de melhorar o atendimento e fazer com que a equipe multiprofissional acolhesse esse público conforme os princípios do SUS e da própria política. Objetivou-se analisar a assistência de Enfermagem no campo da saúde do homem por meio de uma revisão integrativa. Metodologia: Tratou-se de um estudo de abordagem qualitativa, pelo método de uma revisão integrativa, que contribui para análise da pesquisa e dos resultados. Evidenciou deficiência do autocuidado e informação tanto na assistência de enfermagem como do público masculino, apresentando déficits na promoção e prevenção de doenças e agravos.
