Effect of phytosanitary products used on cassava crop on biological aspects of entomopathogenic fungi

Resumo: This study aimed to evaluate the interaction of commercial phytosanitary products registered or in the process of registration for use in cassava crop, on biological aspects of Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae under laboratory conditions. The products tested were Actara®, Callisto®, Cypermethrin®, Curryon®, Fusilade®, Gaucho®, Nomolt®, Poquer®, Standark Top® and Tiger®, and their action was evaluated on the germination parameters, colony forming unit (CFU), vegetative growth and conidium production. The data obtained from the different biological parameters were analyzed, and the compatibility between the products and the fungi was based on the calculation of toxicity proposed by biological index. There was a differentiated response of the fungi in relation to the products tested, B. bassiana was compatible with all except Fusilade®. For M. anisopliae the products Gaucho®, Poquer® and Cipermetrina® were considered moderately toxic, while the other products were compatible.

Los productos probados fueron Actara®, Callisto®, Cipermetrina®, Curryon®, Fusilade®, Gaucho®, Nomolt®, Poquer®, Standark Top® y Tiger®, y su acción fue evaluada en los parámetros de germinación, unidad formadora de colonias (UFC), crecimiento vegetativo y producción de conidios. Se analizaron los datos obtenidos de los diferentes parámetros biológicos y la compatibilidad entre los productos y los hongos se basó en el cálculo de la toxicidad propuesta por el índice biológico. Hubo una respuesta diferenciada de los hongos en relación con los productos probados, B. bassiana era compatible con todos excepto con Fusilade®. Para M. anisopliae los productos Gaucho®, Poquer® y Cipermetrina® se consideraron moderadamente tóxicos, mientras que los demás productos eran compatibles.Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a interação de produtos fitossanitários comerciais registrados ou em processo de registro para uso na cultura da mandioca, sobre aspectos biológicos dos fungos Beauveria bassiana e Metarhizium anisopliae em condições de laboratório. Os produtos testados foram Actara®, Callisto®, Cipermetrina®, Curryon®, Fusilade®, Gaucho®, Nomolt®, Poquer®, Standark Top® e Tiger®, e avaliou-se a ação destes sobre os parâmetros germinação, unidade formadora de colônias (UFC), crescimento vegetativo e produção de conídios. Os dados obtidos dos diferentes parâmetros biológicos foram analisados, e a compatibilidade entre os produtos e os fungos foi baseada no cálculo de toxicidade proposto por índice biológico. Houve resposta diferenciada dos fungos em relação aos produtos testados, B. bassiana foi compatível com todos, exceto Fusilade®.
