Dendrometry techniques in irrigation management: an integrative review

Resumo: Dendrometry as an indicator for the rational management of irrigation has been a topic of discussion in recent times due to the search for lower water consumption and increased efficiency in the use of water by agricultural crops. In view of the lack of information, this integrative review aimed to present a study on the dendrometry techniques used in the management of irrigation aimed at determining the water consumption of crops. A study was carried out with data collection from sources, through bibliographic research and integrative review, with the guiding question: dendrometry techniques in irrigation management guarantee greater efficiency in the use of water and agricultural production with less consumption water? These techniques are based on the plant itself with a need for precision in estimating the data generated and knowing how to interpret them making it a great challenge in the use of dendrometry. From the analysis of secondary data available in the literature, dentrometry techniques reflect on the interactions between the amount of water available in the soil for the plant and the water demand in the atmosphere. Therefore, these techniques and others are being analyzed in order to achieve better water use efficiency and greater agricultural production with less water consumption.

En vista de la falta de información, esta revisión integradora tuvo como objetivo presentar un estudio sobre las técnicas de dendometría utilizadas en el manejo del riego para determinar el consumo de agua de los cultivos. Se realizó un estudio con la recolección de datos de fuentes, a través de investigación bibliográfica y revisión integradora, con la pregunta orientadora: las técnicas de dendometría en el manejo del riego garantizan una mayor eficiencia en el uso del agua y la producción agrícola con menor consumo ¿agua? Estas tecnicas se basan en la propia planta con una necesidad de precisión en la estimación de los datos generados y saber cómo interpretarlos, lo que lo convierte en un gran desafío en el uso de la dendometría. A partir del análisis de los datos secundarios disponibles en la literatura, las técnicas de dentrometría reflejan las interacciones entre la cantidad de agua disponible en el suelo para la planta y la demanda de agua en la atmósfera. Por lo tanto, estas técnicas y otras están siendo analizadas para lograr una mejor eficiencia en el uso del agua y una mayor producción agrícola con un menor consumo de agua. A dendrometria como indicador para o manejo racional da irrigação ainda vem sendo pauta de discussões nos últimos tempos devido à busca pelo menor consumo hídrico e aumento da eficiência no uso da água pelas culturas agrícolas. Tendo em vista a carência de informações, a presente revisão integrativa teve por objetivo apresentar um estudo sobre as técnicas de dendrometria utilizadas no manejo da irrigação que visam à determinação do consumo hídrico das culturas. Realizou-se um estudo com a coleta de dados a partir de fontes, por meio da pesquisa bibliográfica e revisão integrativa, tendo como pergunta norteada: as técnicas de dendrometria no manejo da irrigação garantem maior eficiência do uso da água e produção agrícola com menor consumo hídrico? Essas técnicas são baseadas na própria planta com necessidade de precisão na estimativa dos dados gerados e saber interpretá-los tornando um grande desafio no uso da dendrometria. A partir da análise de dados secundários disponíveis na literatura, as técnicas de dentrometria refletem sobre as interações entre a quantidade de água disponível no solo para a planta e a demanda hídrica da atmosfera.
